Community Foundation 2008 Garden Party

A signature event for the Community Foundation of Dutchess County, the annual Garden Party is open to the public and allows the Foundation to publicly recognize the community service and contributions of citizens from Dutchess County while sharing information about the Foundation and some of the various programs supported by grants made possible by our more than 375 charitable funds.  Through the generous support of our sponsors, supporters and guests, all net proceeds from this annual Garden Party support the Community Foundation’s efforts to promote philanthropy in Dutchess, Ulster and Putnam counties, and provide much needed funding to support the programs and services of worthy local nonprofit organizations.

Honorary Co-Chairs for the event are last year’s Honorees: Denise Doring VanBuren and Patricia Murphy, representing her husband, the late Michael P. Murphy.  Event Chair is Richard E. Fisher; Nancy Rossi Brownell is Sponsorship Chair.
