The Community Foundation of Putnam County, an affiliate of Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley, began is 2008 to bring the services of a community foundation Putnam County.
The Foundation administers $61,000 in assets, represented through 5 funds.
Guided by a local board of community leaders, monies raised for Putnam County will stay in Putnam County. The board’s goals are to grow philanthropy in Putnam County, raise money, establish new endowed funds and make grants to make the quality of life in Putnam County even better.
