Managing Nonprofits Through Difficult Times Spring 2009 Seminar Series
Given these dramatically difficult economic times, three foundations are partnering to offer an array of seminars to provide nonprofit organizations with advice and guidance on a broad range of management issues.
These seminars are structured for the leaders of nonprofits, both senior level staff and board members. We encourage attendance by more than one person from each organization to maximize the benefit of the information. We welcome you and look forward to the assistance we trust these seminars will bring. We also encourage you to form follow-up discussion groups with your fellow attendees to further extend your learning.
This year, Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation, the Dyson Foundation and the Community Foundation of Dutchess County / Ulster County Community Foundation are partnering to respond to the new economic challenges today’s world imposes on nonprofits. The selection of courses offers you new introductory and advanced-level courses on managing nonprofits through difficult times. Please take a look at the choices, select those topics that will help you and your organization achieve great things, and join us and your colleagues for a lively educational experience.
Note: Human Resource Issues for Downsizing and Restructuring: A recording of the 3/5 webinar is available to organizations that were not able to participate in the webinar for $20. Please contact the Community Foundation of Dutchess County to place your order. A link to the recording will be sent to you via Email.
