This is morning, fading fast.
I spend it with the sunflowers,
The day moon, and Amelia. 
She whispers
The trees sway.
She laughs
The ground shakes.
She cries
The marigolds drink.
Smile on us today.
Cue the nightingales -
This is night, fading fast.
I spend it with the fireflies,
The sunset, and Amelia.
She sings
Perfect harmony with the mockingbirds.
